With the cost of energy going through the roof it is imperative to take measures to conserve as much energy as possible. Reducing your energy consumption will save you money but doing so is not always easy.

Most homes have large paddle fans installed in different rooms of the house. They are often installed in homes where there is no air conditioning. The paddle fans are usually operated during the warm summer months and are turned off during the cooler months. These paddle fans can be operated in reverse as a down draft fan during the cool months. As a down draft fan they redistribute the warm air that gathers near the sealing by bringing it down to the lower level of the room.
