How to Clean Dura Ceramic Tile Flooring
Cleaning Dura
Ceramic Tile
Introduction:
Dura Ceramic floors are
designed to be more durable and easier to maintain
than conventional flooring. These tiles have a
lifetime warranty against fading and staining and
require very little maintenance to keep them clean
and looking like new. Sweeping or vacuuming the
floors regularly is recommended by the manufacturer
to remove dirt or sand which could scratch and
damage the floor over time.
How to clean Dura Ceramic tile
flooring:
-
Sweep the floor to
remove any dirt or debris from the ceramic
flooring.
-
Mix a 1/4 cup of a
resilient floor cleaner into one gallon of warm
water in a large bucket or mop bucket.
-
Apply the floor
cleaner with a sponge mop. Change the cleaning
solution if it becomes dirty during cleaning and
mix a fresh solution.
-
Rinse the floor by
mopping with clean water after cleaning.
Note: Do
not use regular dish washing liquid detergent,
oil-based cleaner or other products that claim to
polish the floor as they clean. These cleaners may
leave a residue on the floor that dirt and dust
will cling to, causing the floor to become dirty
faster. The Congoleum Corporation makes a floor
cleaner that is specifically designed for Dura
Ceramic tile flooring.
